RETURN POLICY

Orders will be eligible for return within 14 calendar days of the goods being received, provided the product is unused, in its original packaging. Delivery costs for returning items will be covered by the customer. We will process the refund as soon as possible and, in any case, within 10 working days of receiving the returned goods.

In the unlikely event that the goods you receive are damaged upon arrival please contact our sales support team and we will exchange the damaged goods at no extra cost.

TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Institution Agreement to Protect Intellectual Property

By continuing with the purchase of the Ilm2Amal Curriculum and/or associated resources as developed by Knowledge to Action Charity you are confirming agreement with the Terms of Service Agreement and Charter below.

2. Release of Goods

Orders will be ready for dispatch within 3-5 working days of the payment being received.


3. Delivery Information

Where applicable, a delivery charge is calculated according to the weight of the goods purchased and included automatically.

Knowledge To Action Charter & Terms of Service Agreement

The following is the terms under which we will engage and interact with you (“the Client”) for the provision of the Ilm2Amal Curriculum and/ or associated resources (“the Curriculum”) as developed by Knowledge to Action Charity (“Knowledge To Action”).

Our Charter

By purchasing the Curriculum, the Client confirms that they:

  • Commit to our vision which is to nurture responsible Muslim leaders who will benefit society through good character and social responsibility

  • Share our vision of building bridges, strengthening shared values and enhancing community cohesion, and demonstrate this through the educational activities you partake in and services you provide

  • Teach respect for all people regardless of their faith, ethnicity or gender and do not tolerate discrimination of any kind against any individual or community

  • Champion shared values such as freedom of speech, tolerance, respect, compassion and diversity

  • Provide students with opportunities to learn through experience and regularly ensure that classroom learning is transformed into activities which benefit all members of your local community

Our Terms of Service

Confidentiality

1.0 The Client undertakes that it shall not at any time disclose to any person any confidential information concerning Knowledge To Action except as permitted by clause 6. For the purposes of this clause confidential information shall include:

a) The existence and terms of this agreement; b) The Curriculum, lesson plans, teacher guidance notes, PowerPoint presentations, student workbooks and any other resources provided to you by Knowledge To Action that contain our intellectual property which, for the avoidance of doubt, shall be deemed to be the confidential information of Knowledge To Action.

2.0 The Client may disclose the other party’s confidential information:

a) to its employees and students who need to know such information for the purposes of carrying out its obligations under or in connection with this agreement. The Client shall ensure that its employees to whom it discloses Knowledge To Action’s confidential information comply with the confidentiality obligations in this agreement; and

b) as may be required by law, a court of competent jurisdiction or any governmental or regulatory authority.

3.0 The Client shall not use Knowledge To Action’s confidential information for any purpose other than to perform its obligations under or in connection with this agreement.

Intellectual Property

4.0 Knowledge To Action shall retain ownership of all intellectual property rights vested in the Curriculum and any other resources provided by Knowledge To Action to The Client. All such material shall remain the sole property of Knowledge To Action.

5.0 Knowledge To Action grants to The Client a non-exclusive revocable licence to use the Curriculum and other resources provided by Knowledge To Action to The Client to such extent as is necessary to enable The Client to use the Curriculum and resources and exercise its rights under this agreement.

Restrictions under the agreement

6.0 You agree that in the course of your provision of the Curriculum, all advice to any other parties concerning Knowledge To Action’s Curriculum (written or otherwise) will be approved by Knowledge To Action. You will not use the Knowledge To Action name in any marketing literature, should you decide to produce any, without our prior written consent.

7.0 You will not act or describe yourself as an agent of Knowledge To Action, nor will you make or represent that you have authority to make any commitments on Knowledge To Action’s behalf.

Duration and termination of this agreement

8.0 Subject to paragraph 11 below, this agreement shall commence from the date of purchase and shall continue until it is terminated by either party giving not less than 14 days’ written notice.

9.0 In the event that you are in breach of any of the terms of this agreement, Knowledge To Action will be entitled (without prejudice to any other rights and remedies available to it under this agreement or otherwise) to terminate this agreement with immediate effect by notice of writing. Any delay by Knowledge To Action in exercising such rights of termination shall not constitute a waiver of them.

10.0 In the event of termination of this agreement, information concerning Knowledge To Action’s Curriculum (and any copies thereof) must be returned to Knowledge To Action within 14 days of the notice of termination.

11.0 Termination of the agreement by notice shall not affect your continuing obligations under paragraphs 1 to 9 of this agreement, which shall survive termination. Both parties agree to waive any rights they may have to damages in respect of any loss of earnings suffered as a result of termination of the Agreement by notice under this paragraph.

Miscellaneous

12.0 No term of this agreement is enforceable under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by a person who is not a party to this agreement.

13.0 Any variation to this agreement must be agreed in writing by both parties.

14.0 This agreement shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any claim or dispute arising from it.
